Former Trinamool Congress MP and Veteran Bengali film actor Tapas Pal passes away due to cardiac arrest in a Mumbai hospital on February 18.
After the CBI arrested him in the case related to the Rose Valley chit-fund scam in December 2016 he moved himself away from the cinema and active politics.
Tapas Pal had a daughter Sohini with his wife Nandini.
It is reported that Tapal pal has been in and out of the hospital in the last two years as he is affected by heart ailments.
