A 31 year old woman from Imphal, Manipur has been detected with the symptoms of the deadly Coronavirus that has its origin in China’s Wuhan province.
The woman, identified as Moirangthem Roshini Devi, is from Thangmeiband Khomdram Selungba Leikai, Imphal. She is currently undergoing medical treatment in Imphal.
According to reports, she had traveled to Hong Kong recently and returned on January 20. She has been admitted to RIMS with complaints of headache, sneezing and running nose. Currently, she is under observation. It may be mentioned here that over 130 people have died due to the disease in China and 4515 cases were reported of being infected earlier. 1500 new cases have also been reported.
China has imposed travel restrictions and wearing masks in public has been made compulsory to control further infection. India has also begun the process of evacuating nationals from Wuhan, China, which has been impacted the most by the outbreak of Coronavirus.
